We have been growing roses with great passion since 1986. Initially in the Netherlands and since 2005 in Ethiopia. Quality, customisation, reliability, sustainable and socially responsible rose production is central to everything we do. More than 1,200 enthusiastic employees work for us daily to deliver the most beautiful roses to our customers.
We believe in providing a socially responsible and climate neutral rose from Ethiopia. This is reflected in the way in which we grow roses. For example, in Ethiopia we only use renewable energy sources, we limit the use of chemicals by applying integrated pest management, we have wetlands to purify and reuse water and we use drip irrigation to limit water consumption. We also have a waste management system to minimize and reuse our waste.
We are honest, reliable and have integrity in our actions. For us, this means that we do what we say and say what we do, an agreement is an agreement, every customer has a fixed point of contact. With passion, care and an eye for the market, Holla Roses offers a wide range of multiple varieties and colors of 'single' and 'spray' roses.
At our location in Aalsmeer, we process approximately 300,000 roses daily for our customers. Being situated on the premises of the flower auction Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer ensures speed in the logistical process. Quality inspectors check for quality and inspect for damages, thus guaranteeing the highest possible quality. We have a dedicated space for blooming, where we weekly assess how roses react at room temperature in vases. Customization is highly valued by us. In consultation with the customer, roses are arranged in bouquets or buckets, placed in water, and provided with stickers and/or nutrients. This way, we tailor our approach to meet the customer's demands.
